An “official trailer” was created to help facilitate our submission efforts for film festivals.  What do you think?

Of course, you can see the whole episode (and possibly some of the first 7)  at the Laughlin International Film Festival in Laughlin, Navada where Episode 8 will screen on

Ball and Chain, the Series wins Film Festivals

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!

Congratulations to the “Ball and Chain” cast and crew on being Best Web Series winners by jury in both the Direct Short Online Film Festival and the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival.

These two most recent wins came soon after a win in the Rafflicks online film festival.

The cast and crew are a great group of professionals who deserve a little recognition for the time and effort. Hopefully this is just the beginning of bigger developments for the series. Can anyone say a 10 episode order from Netflix?

NOW CASTING: Women for Featured Extra Roles

“Ball and Chain, the Series” is working on Episode 6 and currently has a need for some featured extras to play beautiful, fit, 20s to mid 30s women who get hit on by our hapless main characters. These scenes will shoot Sunday, March 15th and there will be three different talent call times: 10:00am, 1:00pm and 7:00pm. All shooting locations will be on the east side.

There is no monetary compensation for the shoot and will ask you provide your own wardrobe. However, we can provide money for gas reimbursement, food on set, and a fun time (this is quite a fun crowd we’ve been working with on this series) and credit. Please let us know which call time for the day best fits your availability (your availability will determine what is best to wear and which role to aim for).

Please send a head shot and contact info right away to: BallandChaintheSeries [at] gmail.com

Thank you!
